Student Organizations at EHOVE Career Center

There are so many organizations at EHOVE. Blogging, ambassador, student council, FCCLA Chapter (which is only for Culinary Arts and Early Childhood Education students).

With all these organizations, I’ve been able to do a lot. Being a blogger, I get to meet all the incoming juniors and work with Mrs. Ward. Without her, none of this blogging would be possible.

Being an ambassador we get to speak at almost all of the school functions and planned events, such as Senior Roundup. This year, we went to the food show in Michigan with Mr. Kraft (the Cafeteria Kitchen Manager). Student Council gave me the opportunity to have a say in what goes on at EHOVE. We helped plan the talent show and prom. In FCCLA, we gather once a month for a meeting. We do community projects such as bake cookies for Big Brothers, Big Sisters Foundation and currently collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House to help pay their electricity bill. On March 28, 2012 the FCCLA Chapter of EHOVE participated in FCCLA Day at the Cleveland Cavalier basketball game.

It’s hard, even stressful sometimes, to balance all of these organizations, homework, work, friends and family time but in the end it’s been worth it. It taught me time management.

EHOVE Career Center is a high school and adult education facility that offers a wide variety of career training opportunities in relevant, in-demand fields.
