Well, this is it. This is my final blog for the school year here at EHOVE Career Center. Our final blog has members of our Business Professionals of America “Network Design Team”. The team placed 2nd at the state level and 6th at the national level in Orlando, Florida. The goal was to design a network for a made up company and present it to a panel of judges that would then decide if the team would advance to the next round or not. Through my experiences at EHOVE, I learned many skills that will help me progress in my chosen career. Kevin, one of the members of the team learned about public speaking skills and how they are important in today’s workforce. Tyler, also one of the members of the team learned about computer networking and achieved certifications that will help him succeed in the IT field. And finally, Jimmy (myself) learned many important skills in presentation, and computer networking. I would like to thank my classmates for participating in my blogs and I appreciate them taking the time to help me complete them. I would also like to thank Mr. Laser for being a terrific instructor.
