It’s so sad that EHOVE and my high school career has come to an end. I have made so many friends, had unforgettable experiences, and memories I will cherish forever. It is good to know that all my hard work will finally pay off. I am thankful for the career opportunities, job experience, Business Professionals of America, my teacher, portfolio, resumes, work-based learning, college credit, being on the blog team, National Technical Honors Society, and a headstart on my education so I can have a smooth transition to college. I also am thankful my experience at my home school with the friends I have there, volleyball, and basketball.

Some of my favorite memories include putting together our senior News Broadcast Production project for Business Professionals of America, seeing Mr. Schenk (the security guard) everyday to talk about sports, and being able to come to EHOVE Career Center and do something different with my life then the average student. So everyone out there who wishes to come to EHOVE or is a current student, cherish your time in high school and be all that you can be!

Well friends this is it, the last blog of the year. I hope you’ve enjoyed the videos over the year. From meeting everyone to eating raw oysters, and now finishing up the year and rounding it out. Along with having fun with the fellow EHOVE bloggers I have also met numerous people and made tons of new friends by being here at EHOVE for the past 2 years. I have learned all sorts of information. I have become more mature and I have learned how to survive in the society we live in today. EHOVE has given me the skills and tools that I will need to succeed in life and I plan to use them to their fullest potential in my career field. As for my career field I will be attending Sullivan university in Louisville, Kentucky for a bachelors degree in culinary science in an  18 month program. Being at EHOVE has given me 4 credit hours and $10,000 worth of scholarships towards my education there. I hope everyone has a great summer and I better be seeing everyone at EHOVE next year when I come to visit all the amazing students and staff achieving success like I have the past two years at EHOVE Career Center.

Well, this is it. This is my final blog for the school year here at EHOVE Career Center. Our final blog has members of our Business Professionals of America “Network Design Team”. The team placed 2nd at the state level and 6th at the national level in Orlando, Florida. The goal was to design a network for a made up company and present it to a panel of judges that would then decide if the team would advance to the next round or not. Through my experiences at EHOVE, I learned many skills that will help me progress in my chosen career. Kevin, one of the members of the team learned about public speaking skills and how they are important in today’s workforce. Tyler, also one of the members of the team learned about computer networking and achieved certifications that will help him succeed in the IT field. And finally, Jimmy (myself) learned many important skills in presentation, and computer networking.  I would like to thank my classmates for participating in my blogs and I appreciate them taking the time to help me complete them. I would also like to thank Mr. Laser for being a terrific instructor.

Well… it’s May. Graduation is almost here. Serious oh em gee girl moment! This is definitely bittersweet. I’m excited, yes. Sad? Definitely. I came to EHOVE in 2011 as a junior. I went into Early Childhood Education with little experience and thinking I wanted to be a teacher. Coming out of Early Childhood, I have more experience with younger children and I learned I didn’t want to be a teacher. Originally I wanted to write and be a teacher. Now my focus is on writing. I’m even thinking about becoming an (elementary) librarian. I applied to Kent State University and I was accepted. I’m planning to attend in the fall under an exploratory major. It’s a little scary to think about leaving for college. Like I’ll be done with high school…what the heck am I going to do with my life?! I can’t be the only one who’s thought this.

But, anyway, this is my FINAL blog as the Early Childhood Education blogger for EHOVE Career Center. I want to thank EHOVE for giving me another family and giving me the chance to meet new people. EHOVE has really helped me prepare for college and the future. The teachers always tried to help and I was capable of understanding thanks to them. I do have a few thanks though.

Mrs. Kluding, thank you for acting like a second mom and being there for me.

Mrs. Taylor, thank you for being supportive of my writing and agreeing to stay apart of it.

Mrs. Ward, thank you for the help as a blogger and putting up with me!

And thank you many other teachers. But overall thank you my EHOVE friends and EHOVE in general. I’ll miss you!

This is kind of an emotional one for me because it will be the last time you will see me on here. This is our last week of school!! This video is a couple of my buddys talking a little bit about the end of the year and graduating. We are all very excited but scared at the same time. From what my friends and I have talked about most of us are going to colleges here in northern Ohio but others are going out of state such as Florida, North Carolina, and so forth. Since my first day, EHOVE has been an amazing place and alot has to do with the teachers and administrators. They are fun and amazing people to be around. One of the greatest things about EHOVE is you can succeed so much if you just put forth the effort because EHOVE staff will help every step of the way. All the hard work through out the school year is totally worth it because of all the great times you have with friends and every memory you make is full of fun.

I just wanted to thank EHOVE for preparing me for my future. I want to thank my construction tech lab instructer Mr Wilhelm for teaching me alot of skills in the construction industry. Without EHOVE and Mr Wilhelm I wouldn’t hardly know anything about the construction field and better ways to get me far in life. Once I graduate EHOVE I want to work as a union construction worker. They pay good money and they also have good benefits. So once again I would like to thank EHOVE for helping me with my future and being able to help me jump into the career I want faster.

I have enjoyed my days here at the EHOVE Career Center. I have meet tons of new people. I have learned alot of useful skills from My lab-the exercise science and rehab therapy program. I have also learned about other jobs at EHOVE, from how to properly don gloves to how the pistons fire in a car.  It been an amazing journey here at EHOVE, the best career tech school in Ohio. But I am going to miss EHOVE after I graduate! It was the best two years of my high school time. I just want to say good luck to the upcoming juniors and returning seniors next year! Hope they also enjoy their time at EHOVE-the best career tech school in Ohio.

Hello and goodbye I suppose from me, Mike at EHOVE Career Center. This is of course my last year here and with just a few days left I thought I would try to make as awesome of a video as I could.

Most of what I want to say is already in the video itself, but I can say that I has an amazing time at EHOVE and I don’t regret any part of it. I’m ready to move on to the next part of my life and have new experiences outside of the daily school routine.

Although there isn’t any word of it or any mention in my video I would like to wish the next year Criminal Justice Blogger, Jonah Webb great luck in his senior year as well as in his career. (He is a fellow soldier with me).
